Magento Cluster
Magento, an eCommerce platform built on PHP, comes in a robust and highly dependable package, designed to effortlessly scale as needed, running on certified Mcloud dockerized stack templates.
1. Varnish Load Balancer with NGINX as an HTTPS Proxy: Varnish load balancer is paired with an NGINX server, serving as an HTTPS proxy to enhance security and manage traffic effectively.
2. Scalable NGINX PHP Application Servers: These servers come with preconfigured automatic horizontal scaling to adeptly handle fluctuations in load, ensuring optimal performance.
3. MySQL DB Cluster with Master-Slave Replication: The MySQL database cluster incorporates asynchronous master-slave replication to guarantee high availability, fault tolerance, and data security.
4. Redis Sessions Node: A dedicated Redis node manages user session parameters, offering swift and efficient session handling.
5. Redis Cache Node: Another Redis node is in place for storing content cache, promoting faster content retrieval and reducing server load.
6. Elastic Data Storage Node: Media files are stored in an Elastic Data Storage node, providing a flexible and scalable solution for managing these assets.
Each container within the cluster is configured to accommodate up to 8 cloudlets, equivalent to 1 GB of RAM and 3.2 GHz of CPU, with load alerts to notify you when resource consumption nears capacity.
This setup follows a specific topology:
Furthermore, it’s important to note that when scaling either the Load Balancer or Application Server layer, the system automatically adjusts the necessary configurations to ensure that all application server nodes properly handle the load distribution. Additionally, the application server layer dynamically scales based on incoming traffic, ensuring seamless adaptability to changing loads.
